NFHS Softball Printing Errors and Corrections:

"...batter must take her position in the batter's box within 10 seconds after the ball is returned to the pitcher." Delete the last three words "in the circle"

PIAA Modification:

2008 Rule Book, page 15, Rule 1-5-4: following Bat Performance Standard, bear; delete "either" and then following "the" delete "2000 or". The rule should read as follows:

"Rule 1-5-4...All basts shall meet the 2004 ASA Bat Performance Standard, bear the 2004 ASA Certification mark, and not be on the ASA non-approved list as found on www.softball.com.

Also cross out the 2000 Certification mark shown.
