Friends' Central School is looking for an Assistant Varisty and Middle School Wrestling Coach.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for coaching and directing wrestling program including but not limited to organizing and supervising practices and competitions
  • Commintment to and monitoring student athete academic progress and academic advisement.
  • Provide leadership and general team management in the areas of practice, skill, and character development.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required/Desired Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

  • Considerable knowledge of coaching wrestling including competitions, practices and strength conditioning
  • Knowledge and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with head coach, athletic success of student athletes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with head coach and athletic administrators
  • Effective verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Prior successful coaching experience, preferably at the college level.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
