MECHANICSBURG, PA. — September 12, 2023 — The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has agreed to a multi-year partnership with Outdoor Cap, making the headwear manufacturer the official hat of the PIAA.

Since 1977 Outdoor Cap has manufactured an array of custom high-quality headwear. OC Sports creates custom on-field performance caps as well as authentic licensed team replica caps. The company also owns JUNK Brands, a leader in athletic and running headbands.

As part of the partnership, PIAA will carry Outdoor Cap hats in its merchandise booths on-site at various PIAA State Championships and provide its member schools with the latest in Outdoor Cap offerings for both teamwear and booster club sales.

“After outfitting our staff at the recent PIAA Track & Field State Championships with Outdoor Caps, we are certain partnering will allow our membership access to the same quality and budget friendly options,” stated PIAA COO Mark Byers. “It also gives our schools an option to create their own custom championship hat to commemorate their achievement.”
