This position is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and promoting a high quality athletic program throughout the District, as well as the coordination of the extracurricular activities within the high school, which are an integral part of Dallastown Area School District’s total educational experience. This is an ACT 93 position and requires a flexible work schedule, including evening hours.

The Ephrata Area School District is recruiting to fill the position of Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the 2018/2019 school year.  The Head Coach must be responsible for organizing the program in such a way that the teaching and learning of the skills necessary to succeed in that sport occurs.  The Head Coach must create the atmosphere and the discipline to bring this about, just as the teacher in the classroom must create a good learning environment.

Candidates should have previous playing or coaching experience as well as the following criminal clearances obtained within the last 12 months: Act 34 PA Criminal Record - Act 151 PA Child Abuse - Act 114 - FBI Criminal Background Check. The Ephrata Area School District also requires a pre-employment drug test, physical, and TB test upon offer of employment.
