White Christmas

Here we are already closing out another year, 2014, can you imagine, and having the Christmas season upon us. No matter what your background, faith or beliefs, what speaks louder than anything is how you treat your fellow man, or should I say, how you treat your brothers and sisters.

There is no greater measure of someone’s character than those individuals that will stand up for someone when that person is down on their luck and stand beside them during a crisis. It doesn’t matter whether it is professional or personal. Those who stand beside you will never be forsaken and this is one of the truest tests of courage.

We say this as part of the Holiday season because we all have our favorite memories and stories to share, but those that mean the most are those of true brotherhood or sisterhood and convey a message or spirit of the Holidays. This is the message that our actions and relationships are greater than oneself.

So with Christmas being a few days away and the New Year upon us, we think back of those great songs of yesteryear when you could publicly sing the lyrics and most people understood the words of the song.

With that I share with you the words of Bing Crosby singing White Christmas.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas; just like the ones I used to know;
Where the tree tops glisten, and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, with every Christmas card I write;
May your days be merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be white.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know.
Where the tree tops glisten and children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, with every Christmas card I write;
May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmases be white.
